COLLECTION DUNE
Collection dune is highly inspired by the dune movies, which I must have watched at least 4x already. I was immediately struck by the cinematography, the colors and the immensely fascinating world which was created in the dune movies and books. My paintings try to capture these deeply saturated colors together with a feeling of longing and ache. To me they feel lonely yet strong and independent and I wish to convey this ambiguity as well as my captivation and admiration of the desert.
